PARENT & CHILD WORKSHOPS
From planters to mugs to bowls, each Parent & child clay workshops lasts 2 hours and has easy step by step instruction designed for beginners who have never touched clay before. Your project is then fired and glazed for you by BHCS staff and available for pick up at the studio in 3-4 weeks.
Each spot purchased includes entry for one parent and one child. All Children must be age 5 or older. Each parent & child pair can choose to collaborate on one PROJECT or make TWO SEPARATE PROJECTS. You may also purchase additional spots for another child, but parents must always accompany children to this workshop.

Mother's Day Parent & child planter workshop
Join us at Black Hound South for a Mother's Day celebration! Together with your child you’ll create a unique clay planter using slab and coil building techniques. Building this way will allow you to create interesting, funky shapes that are one of a kind!

Mugs & Mini Me clay workshop
In this fun beginner-friendly workshop, together with your child you'll make a slab built functional mug(s) perfect for your favorite beverage. Using a variety of stamps and textures, you’ll be able to personalize your mug to be as unique as you! Once you’re finished, you will select your glaze and your pieces will be glazed and fired by the studio and available for pick up in 3-4 weeks. The fired mug will be food, microwave and dishwasher safe.
