BLACK HOUND CLAY STUDIO IS A GREAT PLACE TO HOST A CREATIVE EVENT, TEAM BUILDING ACTIVITY OR BIRTHDAY PARTY!
Our workshops includes all materials, tools, personalized instruction from a professional teaching artist and firing of your projects. We offer a variety of projects, from making your own custom mugs to planters to throwing bowls on potter’s wheel and beyond!
HANDBUILDING
$600-700 base cost for up to 10 people for a 2 to 2.5 hour handbuilding workshop* (additional people up to 16 at $60 / per person)
*time allotment and final price for handbuilding workshops will be determined by what project is selected; some projects need more work time than others!
WHEELTHROWING
$800 base cost for up to 10 people for a 3 hour wheelthrowing workshop (additional people up to 12 at $80 / per person)
Workshop Policies
The prices above are only estimates and charges will be finalized in an invoice. Please allow a minimum of 3 weeks’ lead time to book your event or party.
If you are interested in a date that is 14 days or less away, an extra rush charge of $100 will be applied.
Extra work and instruction time beyond what is stated above can be purchased for an additional fee if you’d like a more leisurely experience!
Sliding scale pricing is available for POC groups and POC-led organizations.
Projects are typically ready for pick up at our studio within 3-4 weeks after the date of your workshop.
